Real Estate Disputes/Lawsuits:
- Assisting with adverse possession claims, eminent domain, boundary disputes, partition actions, and clearing clouds on title
- Assisting with lien and lien foreclosure matters
- Advising clients regarding title and property ownership disputes, including representation in a Proceeding Subsequent or quiet title action
- Representing buyers and sellers in lawsuits or arbitrations addressing disclosure issues that arise post-closing
- Defending real estate agents in investigations initiated by the Department of Commerce investigations initiated by the Department of Commerce or the Attorney General’s office
- Representing clients in construction defect litigation and arbitration
- Representing Common Interest Communities (CIC / townhome association townhome association ) in disputes with vendors/contractors or members of the association
- Insurance defense for claims against agents and brokers, appraisers, and closing companies in coordination with their Errors and Omissions Errors and Omissions (E and O) insurance
- General civil litigation related to mechanic's liens, transaction disputes and other real estate matters
- Counseling clients in mortgage foreclosure actions, cancellations, and mortgage foreclosure postponement
Knowledge, Experience and Leadership in Real Estate Law
Our staff includes lawyers who are certified by the Minnesota State Bar Association as real property law specialists. Our firm represents major trade associations in the area of real estate.
