While many law firms in the Twin Cities metropolitan area are based in downtown Minneapolis or St. Paul, Thomsen & Nybeck made the decision 35 years ago to locate in the Southwestern suburbs. We did not make that decision by accident. We chose to build our practice in Edina to be more accessible to our clients. We offer the same services as a downtown firm, but we offer those services in a location that is more convenient for our clients.
While we are a general practice law firm, our attorneys are not generalists. Within our firm are lawyers who focus on particular areas of law such as business formation and planning, real estate and condo association law, taxation, financing, employment law, litigation, criminal defense, estate planning, personal injury and family law. We offer the depth and breadth of a large law firm, while maintaining a focus on the individualized attention of a small firm. Our credo, “large enough to be effective, small enough to care,” aptly describes our philosophy concerning the size of our law practice.
